Refund Policy

Refunds will be given if the following conditions are met. 

Textbooks must be returned no later than the end of the second week of classes for either the Fall or Spring semester, with receipt. 

Textbooks purchased after the first 2 weeks of classes must be returned within 2 business days from the date of purchase, with receipt. 

Textbooks purchased for the summer semester must be returned by the end of the 1st week of classes, with receipt. 

New books must be in new condition.  Any marks require the bookstore to refund them as used.

Packaged materials (including access codes) MUST NOT be opened.

Open codes are not available for refund. Reference, Bar Charts and Trade Books, Computer accessories, electronics, food/beverages are not returnable.

Any merchandise (non-textbook such as clothing, gifts, supplies, etc must be returned within 30 days of the date of purchase, in new condition and must be in the original packaging. 

Bookstore Charging Guidelines

Registered students of Missouri State University – West Plains are allowed to charge course textbooks/digital materials and required course related items at Drago College Store for two weeks prior to the first day of classes until the Friday following the second week of classes.  Courses beginning in the second eight week session can charge materials for two weeks prior to the first day of the session until the Friday of the first week of class only for students who have not yet had financial aid disbursed.  Charges are not to exceed $1000 in a semester unless verified that the required course materials exceed that amount. 

Registered students who have already been awarded financial aid are allowed to charge additional items beyond required course related items.  The financial aid process must have already been completed and funds verified by university staff. 

Participation in some aid related programs, specifically those that approve the charging of supplies in addition to required course materials, must be confirmed before charging is allowed.  Charges are not to exceed $1000 in a semester unless verified that the required course materials exceed that amount.

Gift Card Expiration Policy:

The Drago College Store will allow gift cards that have been purchased from the store to expire 5 years after the date of issuance. This policy complies with Regulation E for gift cards as provided within the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009. At the end of each fiscal year, any gift card balances older than five years will be removed and allocated to the appropriate fund.
